On October 26, the republican scientific and theoretical conference “KAZAKTYҢ KAYSAR KYZY SAPURA” was organized, dedicated to the 270th anniversary of the birth of the People’s Hero Sapura Matenkyzy.
The purpose of this conference is to glorify the name of the national heroine Sapura Matenkyzy.
The event was attended by a poet, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, chairman of the public republican fund named after "Tabyldy Dosymov", deputy of the Aktobe regional maslikhat, Bizhan Kalmaganbetov, poet, laureate of the orders "Eren Enbegi Ushin" and "Kurmet", laureate of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Zh. .Nazhimedenova Akdaulet Meirkhan, poet, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, art critic, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Kalauov, philologist-local historian, chairman of the patriotic and educational club “Rukhaniyat” at the regional historical and local history museum, head of the expedition “Amanat” Zhibek Abdullina , head of the Khobda sector department of the regional history museum Gulbarshin Sagalieva, famous sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmet Kubaev, local historian Islamgali Bitik.
Also, through the ZOOM application, Doctor Phd. Candidate of Historical Sciences, senior researcher at the Institute of History and Ethnology named after. Sh. Ualikhanov Nurzhan Zhetpisbay, professor of the department of history of Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, candidate of historical sciences Otegen Isenov, local historian, researcher, member of the Union of Journalists and Lawyers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, police colonel from Kyzylorda Khusain Korazbaev.
As part of the event, a bibliographic review of the exhibition of periodicals “El Korgany - Sapura Matenkyzy” was conducted for students of the Higher College named after K. Zhubanov, the Higher European College of Business and Law.
As a result of the conference, the Aktobe Museum of Local Lore was invited to participate in the Grant project for the study of Sapura Matenkyzy. Also, undergraduates from the Department of History of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov were asked to conduct research and write a dissertation on the topic “Halyk batyrs of Sapura Matenkyzy.”
