On September 30, the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev hosted the national book festival «Uly dala eli - Tauelsiz Kazakhstan», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. On this day, the library opened its doors to readers and guests, presenting an informative and interesting program. The book festival was opened with a parade presenting books in a new format, electronic books with a QR code.Honorary guests of the festival were: cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Honorary Citizen" of the city of Aktobe Kurmanbek E.ZH, head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Aktobe region Yunisova A.Yu., Director of the Republican Public Fund. Tabyldy Dosymova Kalmagambetov B., public figure, writer Raimov M., chairman of the association of legal entities "Association of Youth and Children's organizations of Aktobe region", laureate of the State Youth Award "Daryn" of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tabylganov. During the event, in order to ascend the independence of our state and popularize achievements over the years, to promote the activities of libraries, various events were held: the award ceremony of the winners of the regional competition for representatives of other nationalities "Til martebesi - ult mereyi", exhibitions and installations of books released under the program "Madeni Mura" and books from the "Aktobe" series. It was very interesting and informative to have a journalism session with the writer M. Raimov, all participants of the festival actively participated in the master class "Mediasauattylyk kazirgi zaman talabynyn akparattyk madeniyin boligi" about modern information resources, social functions of the Internet. The youth creative group of the library presented a theatrical performance telling about the history of the library during the years of independence. Also, within the framework of this event, a festive evening meeting with veterans of the library "Karttarym - asyl kazynam" was held. Honorary veterans were honored for their services in the library sphere, along with good wishes, songs were played, guests shared their experiences and memories, expressing great gratitude for a wonderful evening. The bibliocafe worked, where treats were offered to the guests in a warm, favorable atmosphere. Due to the epidemiological situation, the festival worked in the “Ashyq" mode.
