On October 13, the Department of Local History Literature of the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev held an educational evening on the ZOOM platform on the topic: "Ak tarynyn Atasy", dedicated to the 140th anniversary (1881-1944) of the birth of Shyganak Berseev, the record holder of high millet yields, to break his record, namely to get 201 hundredweight of millet per hectare, still no one has managed all over the world! Honorary guests of the event: Professor of the University named after S.Baishev Buktybayeva A., head of the department of the Aktobe Agricultural Experimental Station, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Tsygankov V. familiarized with scientific research on the study of millet technology. At the educational evening, veteran journalist Askar I. noted the great educational importance of labor for the younger youth, noting that "Shyganak is the business card of the Kazakhs."Veteran of agriculture Kadyrbayev T. and nephew of Shyganak Bersieva Eshmukhanov M. shared their memories of the merits of their followers. A local poet, journalist, art critic Kalauov Nurlybek shared with readers the story of writing a play about the farmer Sh.Bersiev, told about how the translation into Kazakh of the saga of the German playwright Bertold Brecht "Tary osiru" was written. The director of the Wilsky district Folk Theater, a veteran of the sphere of culture Amangeldy Zhumanov shared his memories of writing and starring in the play "Shyganak".
The audience of the informative evening was presented with the book exhibition "Ak Tarynyn Atasy", prepared by the Department of Local history literature, a bibliographic review was conducted. The ZOOM platform was attended by readers of the district centralized library system of the Aktobe region, employees of the Wilsky district Central Library, Aktobe Agricultural Experimental Station, teachers and students of the Aktobe Higher Agricultural College, teachers, students of the secondary school named after Sh. Bersiev.
