On March 30, was held a republic conference «Kazak poeziyasynyn zharyk zhuldyzy», dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the poet Tolegen Aibergenov. The conference was opened by the famous poet, laureate of the International Literary Award «Alash», editor-in-chief of the magazine «Ush Tagan» Yertay Ashykbayev. The conference was held on the ZOOM platform in an online format. The conference participants talked about the literary heritage of T. Aibergenov.The poet, Doctor of Philology, professor, member of the Academy of Journalism of Kazakhstan and the National Academy of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Secretary of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Zhakyp told about the life and work of the poet, about the specifics of his works. The daughter of T. Aibergenov, Candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor Saltanat Aibergenova shared her memories, she told about the life of her father and expressed great gratitude to the admirers of her father's work. The conference was also attended by colleagues of the G.Slanov Atyrau Regional Universal Scientific Library,  M.Serikkalieva «Zhalyn zhyrdyn zharyk zhuldyzy», A. Tazhibayev Kyzylorda Regional Universal Scientific Library, S.Akaidar «Shynaiy talant – mangilik gumyr» , teacher of Kazakh language and literature of secondary school No. 42  S.Kabylova «Omirge gashyk akyn». The poet's poems were performed at the event. Summing up the results of the conference, the director of the library, Raimbayeva Kuralai Serikovna, noted that Tolegen Aibergenov belongs to the galaxy of innovative poets who raised Kazakh poetry to a new qualitative level by educating a whole generation of famous poets. His name is not forgotten; his poems will always be heard. She called on everyone to read T. Aibergenov's poetry together. The event featured a book exhibition «Zhan edi olen ushin dara tugan» with a bibliographic review.
