On September 28, the Library Development Department held an international online conference on «Modern forms of library work as a way to activate the promotion of reading» on the zoom platform. The conference was attended by librarians from the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A.Osmonov, the Osh Regional Library named after T. Satylganov, the Ulyanovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. I. Lenin, the Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya, as well as the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar regional libraries. The speakers of the conference in their speeches shared their experience in promoting reading in their regions and noted the relevance of the chosen topic. At the end of the event, the participants thanked the organizers of the conference and expressed hope for further cooperation.
