This year marks the 220th anniversary of the birth of national hero Eset Kotibaruly. In connection with this anniversary, a historical and educational event “EL KOSEMI - ER ESET” was held in the library named after S. Baishev. During the event, Zhumanazar Asanov spoke about the biography and holiness of Eset Kotibarula. Candidate of Historical Sciences of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Samat Kurmanalin spoke via ZOOM. Speakers at the event were: Candidate of Historical Sciences of the Belarusian State Medical University named after M. Ospanov, Associate Professor, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanar Tolepbergen, Honored Journalist of Kazakhstan Zhangabyl Kabakbaev, poet, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences Nurlybek Kalauov, descendant of Eset Kotibaruly, academician of folk medicine, healer Nagipa Myrzabaykyzy, director of the KMM “Crisis Center against Victims of Domestic Violence” Bakhyt Zhanshaeva. During the event, poems dedicated to the hero from the collection “Bes Gasyr Zhyrlaydy” were read. A bibliographic review of the book exhibition on the topic “Yeset Batyr - El Yesinde” was conducted for the participants of the event. The books by Z. Baidosula “Ush gasyr perzenteri”, T. Tolepbergen “Eset Batyr”, S. Kurmanalin “Kishi zhuz zhane Eset Kotibaruly bastagan ult-azattyk koterilisi (1847-1858)”, G. Akhmedov “Zhem battles” were presented Nda", T .Torekhanova “Dala Hercules” and others. At the end of the event, the deputy director of the library named after S. Baishev, Aktoty Salieva, presented letters of gratitude to the participants.
