“Omiri oiga toly, Kanysh aga...”

  In the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev held a round table on the topic: “Omiri oiga toly, Kanysh aga...”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet geologist, organizer of science and public figure, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR and Academy of Sciences of the USSR, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, the founder of the school of metallogeny in Kazakhstan, K. Satpayev.
At the round table they talked about the significant achievements of Kanysh Satpayev and his invaluable contribution to the history of the development of Kazakhstan. Guests of the event: honorary professor of Aktobe Regional University. K. Zhubanova, veteran teacher S. D. Uteniyazov, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of West Kazakhstan Medical University named after. M. Ospanova Taizhanov A.T., senior lecturer at the Department of Geography and Tourism, Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov Aidarova A.Z., Master of Political Science, senior lecturer at West Kazakhstan Medical University named after M. Ospanov Moldin B. A., teacher of the secondary school-lyceum named after K. Satpayev Abdykalikov S.S. talked about the activities of the scientist, the introduction of scientific culture and methodological approaches in the field of science, which are an example for the systematic research work of the current generations of scientists in Kazakhstan and young people interested in science.
During the event, the book exhibition “Tungysh Geologist, Gulama Galym” was presented to the attention of readers, and the video material “Kazakhtyn Kanyshy” was shown. Also, the favorite song of the scientist “Kozimnіn karasy” by A. Kunanbaev was performed, a song was performed by a student of the Arai art school M. Myrzagereeva, and students of the high school-lyceum named after. K. Satpayev read their poems dedicated to the scientist.
