On December 8, there was held a literary hour «Alashtyn Akseleui» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist-writer, doctor of philology, professor, ethnographer, journalist, researcher, laureate of the state prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored worker of Kazakhstan Seidimbek Аkseleu Slanuly.

On December 7, devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held the event «Tauelsizdiktin tugury biik» with members of the public association «Zheltoksan alauy» in the S. Baishev Aktobe regional universal scientific library.

On November 24, a regional seminar-meeting among librarians was held on the topic: «Kitaphana kyzmetinin negizgi bagyttary: zhosparlau zhane esep beru». During the seminar, issues arising during the preparation of the annual plan and report of the library were discussed.

On November 15, S.Baishev Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library together with K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University on the 85th anniversary of the birth of an excellent student of education of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan, kuishi Momyn Nurpeisuly Baiganin held a memorial evening «Omiri kuymen orilgen» dedicated to the life and work of the famous kuishi.

In order to develop librarianship, public relations, professional cooperation, as well as to promote reading and search for innovations in meaningful leisure activities, on October 21, the Aktobe region hosted a socio-cultural event «Ymyrttagy kitapkhana - kuzgi kezdesu 2022».
The «Library Loan» department held a «Poetry Party» in a free format with students who love poetry. The young poets Alikhan Zhaksylyk, the winner in the nomination to them. B. Tazhibaeva and Nurdaulet Kabasov, the winner in the nomination. K. Mukhambetkaliuly. The guests told about themselves, read their poems about love, autumn, nature.  Invited students of the humanitarian and ASU «Tarlan» colleges also recited their favorite poems.

On October 13, an anniversary evening was held dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the famous scientist, local historian, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Berkin Kurmanbekov (1952 - 2012) «Galym - olketanushy». The distinguished guests shared their memories of local historian Berkin Kurmanbekov.  His colleague Esbol Esenbayevich Mukhanbetkaliyev noted that Berkin Kurmanbekov is an inquisitive scientist, his friend Akhmetov Koshkimbai spoke about the scientist's ability to make quick decisions, and K. Zhubanov Fr.  Davletyarova Balzhan Khamidulovna, associate professor, candidate of historical sciences, shared her warm memories of the scientist.  An employee of the regional folk art Sana Zhanibek sang songs about her native land and instilled in the audience a sense of patriotism.

On October 12, in honor of the 80th anniversary of Sabit Baimoldin, an outstanding representative of Kazakh poetry, a poet, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, a song evening called "ZHYR-GUMYR" was organized. Altynai Yunisovna, head of the Aktobe regional department of culture, archives and documentation, made a preface to the evening.  In addition, one of the unique citizens who made a significant contribution to the popularization of the work of our poets-writers from the Aktobe region, holder of the Order of Honor, chairman of the Aktobe regional branch of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, director of the Aktobe Media company Otynshin Rauken Sagyzbayuly and deputy akim of the Baiganinsky district Aset Tileukabakuly  and poet, laureate of the international literary award "Alash", laureate of the order "Kurmet", director of the Aktobe regional branch. The event was attended by the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Ush Tagan" Ertai Akhatuly Ashikbayev, who shared his memories and expressed his own opinion.

On October 8, the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev hosted the presentation of the book "TIRI OLIK" by a journalist, poet, translator, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Ziyash Teleuova.  During the event, the poet, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Zhakyp Baurzhan Omirzhanuly and poet Almas Akhmetbekuly, laureate of the Otezhan Nurgaliyev Literary Prize arrived and expressed their warm wishes.  Bauyrzhan Omirzhanuly began his speech with the words “Library is our happy home”, noting that the detective genre is an undeveloped genre in Kazakh literature, and called Ziyash Teleuova unique among the authors of this genre.

On September 28, the Library Development Department held an international online conference on «Modern forms of library work as a way to activate the promotion of reading» on the zoom platform. The conference was attended by librarians from the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A.Osmonov, the Osh Regional Library named after T. Satylganov, the Ulyanovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. I. Lenin, the Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya, as well as the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar regional libraries.

On September 23, the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted the author's project of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Poet, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, cultural worker Nurlybek Kalauov, writer, public figure Madi Raimov, journalist, deputy of the Maslikhat of Aktobe region Bakhyt Zhanshayeva took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. The soloists of the Regional Philharmonic named after G. Zhubanova Dulat and Rita Aitzhanova performed with a beautiful song.
