On June 3, as part of the “Book Festival - 2024”, a meeting evening “Salemetsiz be, Bakyt?!” with poetess, translator, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, laureate of the Iztaya Mambetov Prize Gulimai Abishkyzy. The evening, led by the head of the Aktobe regional department of culture, archives and documentation Altynai Yunisova, was attended by cultural figures, writers, intellectuals and library readers.
During the event, poetess Gulimai Abishkyzy spoke about her life and work and answered questions from readers. Also, library employees Ryszhan Karagulova and Balagul Bakieva organized a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Zhurtymnyn zhusan zhyrymyn...”. Also at the evening, the song “Kelinge” written by the poet was performed. Young poets of the creative youth center “Rukh-nama”, headed by Gulimai Abishkyzy Shyganak Ersultan, Asel Erkinkyzy congratulated the poet and expressed their warm wishes. At the end of the meeting, library director Sulushash Khakimova thanked the guest of the evening and encouraged young readers to read.
