On April 18, the library staff held a historical and educational evening "Dala danasy - Monke bi" dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Monke bi Tileuuly - adviser to Abulkhair Khan, akyn and zhyrau.
The event was attended by: member of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philological sciences, professor - Asanov Zh.; candidate of philological sciences, associate professor of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov - Mukhtarov S.S.; member of the Writers' Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of public service - Eleusizuly K.; chairman of the charity fund "Monke bi" - Kosanov B.B.; candidate of economic sciences, Honorary worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of labor - Shangutov S.T.
The participants of the evening discussed the deep, filled with prophetic meaning statements of Monke bi, his instructive zhyrs and priceless sayings. They noted that the ability to foresee the future of society in the context of a nomadic way of life is the most important feature of Monke bi's work. The words of the sage remain relevant and instructive to this day.
Participants of the event: students of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College, the K. Zhubanov Multidisciplinary College, representatives of the intelligentsia, members of the Elmura National Educational Club, as well as library readers.
During the event, a bibliographic review of the Tulga Tagylymy book exhibition was conducted by library employee Tolegenova A. Zhyrshy, Demeubay Zholymbetov performed Monke bi's work "Bul, bul urek, bul urek", and dombra teacher of Children's Music School No. 1 Erbolat Kalibekov performed the kyui "Ottyn zhalgan-ai".
