On April 1, the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Saktagan Baishev hosted an educational and musical evening "Saz Suretkeri" dedicated to the composer. During the event, the composer, cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan Maksym Menkeshov shared memories from his creative life. The teacher of the folk instruments department of the Aktobe Music College named after Akhmet Zhubanov Saparov Malik Serikovich spoke about the musical instruments of the orchestra. Students of the College named after A. Zhubanov Yelembayev Akzhol and Serikov Asylbek performed the kyuis "Alkissa" and "Zhekpe-zhek". Seitova Tomiris and Zhubat Dauren performed the song "Kustara kaityp barady". Students of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College Yerkebulan Narzhu performed the kyui "Akku", and Islam Orynbasar - the kyui "Balamishka". During the event, a book exhibition "Kazakh sazynyn sayypkyrany" was organized and a video about the life and work of the composer was shown.
