On January 28, in the department of local history literature of the regional universal scientific library named after S. Baishev, within the framework of the regional campaign "Reading Region - 2021", a meeting of the organizing committee for the selection of the "Book of the Year" for national reading was held. This campaign has been held since 2011 with the support of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Aktobe region. As a result of the examination, the works of Ashikbayev E., Kerder A., Tazhibayev B., Utegenov A., Mir-Khaydarov R., Kanakhin O., Mynzhasarova S., Shonanov T., Kuleev B., Aimbetov M. were presented for public reading .
According to the results of a survey conducted in the district, city, region, the members of the commission analyzed and voted for our fellow countryman Utegenov Amantay. After all, Amantai Utegenov is a poet with his own unique style. He translated the works of T. Akhtanov, A. Nurpeisov, A. Kekilbayev, showed them to Kazakh poets and writers, as well as to the Russian people of the Aktobe region.
