On December 3, according to the organization of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Aktobe region, the Department of Education of the Aktobe region, a literary and musical evening «Gasyr zhyrlagan – gazhap akyn» was held in the hall of the Academy of Creativity, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of the master of Kazakh oral and poetic art Zhambyl Zhabayev. The event was attended by representatives of the Akimat of Aktobe region, representatives of the intelligentsia of the city, poets and writers, journalists, librarians.
The literary and musical evening was opened by the term Zhambyl «Akyndarga Arnau» performed by zhyrshy Zhenis Elemesov, a teacher of the A. Zhubanov College of Music. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional competition «Zhambyl Zhyrlary», organized by the Department of Education of the Aktobe region, was held at the evening. The floor for congratulation and awarding was given to the deputy akim of Aktobe region Eleusinova Bulbul Orakovna. Of the 35 contestants , the winners were: (I place) Ayymgul (Wilsky district), Berkingalieva Nargiza (Temir district) and Baktygaliev Eldos (city secondary school) were searching. The winners read Zhambyl's poems. The evening featured the works of Zhambyl: the epic «Korogly», (a version performed by Zhambyl) it was performed by the famous zhyrau, teacher of the school of zhyrau «Er Edige» Demeubai Zholymbetov, poems by Zh.Zhabaev's «Undeu», «Bulbul», «Attandyru», «Egis zhyry», «Kymbatty syi» were read by students of the Music College named after A.Zhubanov. Kui N.Tlendieva «Alkissa» was performed by an excellent student of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a knight of the Order of «Kurmet» Zeynelov B., the term «Zhaz» Zh. Zhabaeva was performed by a student of the music college named after A.Zhubanov Gani Kayrollaev, Zhanibek Beibitov and Elshat Auezkhanov conducted aitys on the works of Zh. Zhambyl, the group «Adep» performed Zhambyl's song «Ugay-ai».
In the lobby of the Aktobe regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev, the book exhibition «Uly dalanyn uly zhyrauy» was decorated, the library staff of Zhaulybayev Sh.  and A. Mukasheva presented the exhibition and conducted a bibliographic review.
