The department of local history literature organized an evening of poetry "Akyn zhyry - zhurek syry", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding representative of Kazakh poetry, the poet Sabit Baimoldin. Rauken Otynshin, director of Aktobe Media LLP, delivered an opening speech. E.Ashikbaev, a well-known poet, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", editor-in-chief of the magazine "Ush Tagan", spoke about the poet's books. The teacher of the Department of Kazakh philology of the Aktyubinsk Regional University named after K.Zhubanov A.Abdullina analyzed the poet's work and paid special attention to his poems in the field of propaganda of his native land, nature and spirit of the land. The poet's daughter Lyazzat Baimoldin shared warm memories, the poet's poems were read by students of the Tarlan College and secondary schools No. 37, No. 49. The head of the department of the Regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation, N. Demeshova, said that more than 400 public events would be held in the region to popularize the poet's work. The evening was attended by lovers of poetry, librarians of schools and gymnasiums in Aktobe, and journalists from Aktobe and RIKA TV channels made a story.
