On March 4, the Department of Local History Literature of the Library held an educational conference «Tarikh tolkynyndagy Aktobe oniri», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Aktobe region (1932). The opening speech of the conference was given to the head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Aktobe region Makhanova G. Conference speakers: Abdullaev N. - professor, candidate of historical sciences of Aktobe regional university named after K. Zhubanov, Zhunusov B - professor, candidate of economic sciences of Aktobe regional university named after K. Zhubanov, Ganibaeva Zh. - candidate of historical sciences of Aktobe regional university named after K .Zhubanova, Abdenov A. - Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, Abdullina A. - Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Philology of Aktobe Regional University named after. K. Zhubanova, Bisembaev A. - Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, Senior Researcher of the Local History Museum of the Aktobe Region, Kaydarov A. - Historian of the Aktobe Regional Center for the Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage, Master of Arts, Daurenbekov A - Islamologist, director of the Aktobe Madrasah College, Sokolskaya N. - director of the regional specialized children's and youth sports school in tennis, Eshmuratova B. - head of the department of the state archive. During the conference, there were performances on the following topics: "History of Aktobe region", "Results and prospects of development of the economy of Aktobe region", "Zhubanov University at the peak of science", "Stability in society - the main value", "History of the region in archival documents", "Chronicle land", "Homeland - frozen history".            The director of the library K. Raimbayeva made a closing speech. The participants of the conference were awarded Letters of Appreciation. A cadet of the Military Institute of the Air Defense Forces named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union T.Ya.Begeldinov congratulated the library staff on the upcoming International Women's Day and presented a congratulatory letter to the director of the library K.Raimbayeva on behalf of the head of the Military Institute of the Air Defense Forces in Aktobe D.Kosanov. The conference participants were presented with a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Tarihy teren Aktobe", a photo exhibition. The event was covered by the channels "Aktobe", "RIKA".
