On March 18, on the eve of the Nauryz holiday – the beginning of the year, within the framework of the Week «Shattyk Kuni», a defile of national costumes «Ulttyk kiim –urpakka mura» was held. The event was attended by cultural workers, students of the Aktobe College of Service and library readers who got acquainted with the culture of clothing of the Kazakh people, the best samples of national clothing were demonstrated. During the evening, the audience was presented samples of clothes of the Atelier «Asia», national outfits of boys, girls, brides and grooms, as well as a collection of modern clothes from young designers of the Aktobe College of Service. During the event, the guests of the evening were shown a video about the history of national clothing. Also, the participants of the event got acquainted with the book exhibition «National costumes of the Kazakh people». The guests of the evening who took part in the fashion show of national clothes were awarded with letters of thanks.
