On May 20, the library subscription department, together with school No. 69, held a literary hour «Alashtyn ardaktysy», dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Kazakh educator, scientist and publicist Akhmet Baitursynov, selected for nationwide readings as part of the republican campaign «One country - one book». The preface to the event was provided to the director of school No. 69 Abzhalelova Aigul Amangeldievna. During the event, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature, A.I. School students read «Kazakh khalky», «Kazakh kalpy», «Anama hut», as well as other poems of the poet, demonstrated the fable «Kaskyr men kozy». In addition, the librarian of the subscription department G. Omarkhanova conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition «Ultyn suygen uly ustaz».The review provides detailed information about the poet's scientific heritage, his literary works, speeches, modern Akhmet studies. At the end of the event, teachers and students who took part in the literary hour were presented with letters of thanks from the director of the library Raimbayeva Kuralay Serikovna.
