On September 23, the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted the author's project of the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Poet, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, cultural worker Nurlybek Kalauov, writer, public figure Madi Raimov, journalist, deputy of the Maslikhat of Aktobe region Bakhyt Zhanshayeva took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. The soloists of the Regional Philharmonic named after G. Zhubanova Dulat and Rita Aitzhanova performed with a beautiful song.
Within the framework of the book festival, in order to instill the love of young people for reading, an event of a free format «Poetry Party» was held. The event was attended by members of the organization «Zhas Kalamgerler» students of the Faculty of Philology of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, Aktobe College of Humanities and AGU Tarlan College. At the poetry evening, the participants read poems on a free topic.
An hour of poetry «Zhyr Tarlany» was held for the 95th anniversary of the poet Mukhtar Kurmanalin. Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet, professor of the University of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, student of Mukhtar Kurmanalin Nurlybek Amandauletovich Kalauov spoke at the event. Mukhtar Kurmanalin's son Bolat Mukhtarov shared his memories of his father. Mukhtar Kurmanalin's relative Kenes Zhusupov noted the poet's high, respectful moral quality. During the event, poems by the poet Mukhtar Kurmanalin were performed. The poet's poems were expressively read by students of secondary secondary school-gymnasium No. 32 named after M. Kurmangalieva, No. 66 named after Sh. Kudaiberdyuly, No. 35 named after H. Dosmukhameduly and No. 37 SH.
On the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, a politician of the early XX century, the founder of Kazakh linguistics, a reader's conference «Ult ustazynyn uly Zholy» was held. The event was attended by Doctor of Philology, Professor Isakova S. S., Candidate of Historical Sciences, senior lecturer Espembetova A.M., history teacher of the secondary school named after A. Baitursynov of the village of Karagash, Alginsky district Amangaliev E. A., chief specialist of the Department of Language Development and coordination work of the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of the linguistic gymnasium No. 24 named after A. Baytursynova Nurtasova A. N., Head of the Children's Library named after Iztaya Mambetova of the Alginsky district Iztleuova A. A.. During the event, librarian Omarkhanova G.A. conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition «Ultyn suigen uly ustaz», read the poet's poems.
In addition, an exhibition of periodicals «Baspasoz – oydyn talmas kanaty», book exhibitions «Avtorlyk koltanbasy bar adebiet: syi, estelik zhane tarikh», «Balalar alemine sayakhat», games, quizzes, board games «Boardgames time», «Poetry Day» reading excerpts from English writers, Bookrossing, a video clip of the book «Kazakh kinosy: keshe zhane bugin» was presented to the readers on the social network.
Within the framework of the project «Ar kazakka bir kitap!», the book of Ilyas Yesenberlin «Koshpendiler» was presented in electronic format to the 1st year student of the KAIST University of South Korea in Daejeon Sansyzbai Abai Kuanyshevich. He expressed gratitude to the staff of the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev.
