В AОУНБ im. S. Baisheva held a scientific and practical conference "Kazakh national hero - Sarke Batyr", dedicated to the great Kazakh hero and the leader of the national liberation movement of the XVIII-XVIII centuries Sarke Batyr.
Conference participants: doctor of historical sciences, professor Zhumagambetov Talgat Smagululy, labor veteran, the best local historian of Kazakhstan, author of the collection about Sarke Batyr Kultaev Bayangali Kanapyaully, labor veteran of the Kargalin region Bakhyt Gizatov, head of the department of culture of the Kargalin region Aizharikov Askhat Sagitjanuly, doctor of historical sciences, professor, head of the department ARU im.K. Zhubanov Izbasarova Gulbanu Bolatkyzy told about Sarke-Batyr, how he heroically defended his native land from Dzungar invasions during the reign of Abulkhair Khan, the famous commander of the Kazakh army Mladshego Zhuz, and gave examples of his heroic exploits based on historical data.
Deputy chairman of the Kazakh society "Azamat" M. Jetpisbaev (Chelyabinsk, online), told this volume how Sarke Batyr stood up against the enemies and defended the Bashkir people in difficult times.
During the event, a presentation of the book "Sarke batyr" by Bayangali Kultaeva, published in 2022 by "Polygraphy" IP, was held for labor veterans. In Aktobe, 7 copies of books were transferred to the fund library.
A video clip showing the life of Sarke Batyr, shown at the book exhibition "On the Road to Freedom", was presented to the attention of the participants of the conference.
The event was attended by teachers and students of the college named after K. Zhubanova, members of the national-cognitive club "Yelmura", working culture.
