        The reader service department of the Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Baishev, on December 16 - Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held an evening meeting “Zheltoksan - tauelsizdiktin uly rukhy” with participants in the December events of 1986: Espenbetova A.M - candidate of historical sciences, senior teacher of the Aktobe regional University named after K. Zhubanova, Beisova N.B. - teacher of computer science at the Aktobe regional specialized physics and mathematics boarding school, Eskalieva D.N. - teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of the Kazakh secondary school No. 31.
The participants of the evening were employees of the military police department and the Criminal Executive Department of the Aktobe garrison, teachers and students of the Kazakh secondary school No. 40.
The guests of the event congratulated us on Independence Day and said that this is a centuries-old dream for our people, this day is a tribute to every citizen of our Motherland. During this meeting, they shared their memories and talked about the significance of those terrible but fateful days for our country.
Realizing that our country’s independence was not an easy one, he called on the younger generation to patriotism, nationality, recognition of independence, and faithful service to their people and nation. They expressed gratitude to the library staff who organized the event dedicated to the December event, which has great historical, socio-political significance and its place in the history of the country.
During this event, students of Kazakh secondary school No. 40 staged a dramatic production “Tasada Osken Gul”, dedicated to independence, and young specialists from our library presented a literary montage “Tauelsizdik Tartu”.
A book exhibition on the topic: “Azattyk Tany Zholynda” was presented to the attention of readers; a video was shown telling the history of the development of independence of our country.
