On March 16, to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Utebay Kanakhin, chosen as part of the regional action “Okityn Olke”, a literary evening “Zamana Perzenti” was held together with the Irgiz regional library.
At the event, the honored journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local historian Otemis Rakymzhan, brother of the writer Utebay Kanakhin Bayman Abzal shared their memories, the director of the Irgiz regional centralized library system, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Myrzaly introduced a letter to “Rakhymzhan, Zakirzhan, Marat”, written by the writer himself. Deputy Director for Educational Work No. 69, teacher of Kazakh languages and literature Alashbaeva Gulzhainar made a report on the literary heritage of the writer, Master of Arts, teacher of Kazakh language and literature No. 1 of school in the Irgiz district Zholaeva Asemgul made a report on the use of phraseological units in the story-essay “ Ata konys" and donated to the library a methodological manual on the topic "Otebay Kanakhin shyғarmalaryn okytudyn korkemdіk manyyzy". Students of the Aisyn School of Radio Journalism expressively read poems dedicated to the writer, composer, employee of Shygarmashylyk Academy Nurtalap Zhusipov performed songs. The participants of the evening were teachers of the Kazakh language and literature from the Aktobe secondary school, students of the ARU named after K. Zhubanov, the Higher College of European Economics, Business and Law, and the Aktobe Humanitarian College. During the event, a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Ken tynysty suretker” was conducted and a slide was demonstrated.
