On October 19, the regional conference “BORANNAN SHYKAN BAKADUR” was held. The purpose of the event is to popularize the life and work of the national writer, playwright, translator, laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan Takhaui Akhtanov. Satirist writer, journalist Ardak Konakbay, Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the “Y. Altynsarina” badge Akzhenis Zhanalina, associate professor of the S. Baishev University, candidate of philological sciences Gaisha Niyazova, and library veteran Galiyash Zhanesova spoke at the event. Also, a lecturer at the Aktobe University named after S. Baishev, Master of Humanities Berik Nurmukhamedov, and a student of the Aktobe Multidisciplinary College of ASU “Tarlan” Diana gave a report on the life of the writer, on the novels “Kakharly Kunder”, “Boran”, “Shyragyn Sonbesin”, “Ant”. During the event, the poet, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, contemporary of Takhaui Akhtanov Serikbay Ospanov made a special video message. Also, the writer’s children Dulat and Asiya Akhtanov addressed the conference participants with their wishes. Employees of the AOUNL named after S. Baishev read a monologue from the writer’s work “Shyragyn sonbesin”, a student of the Aktobe Multidisciplinary College of ASU “Tarlan” Nurbek Zhaksylykov read the poem “Eki ret kelgen zhyrma demon” by Akushtap Baktygereeva.
At the event, a photo gallery from archival photographs of the writer Takhaui Akhtanov was organized, a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Shalkar Shabyt Yesi” was conducted, and the stand “Shyragy sonbegen kemel tulga” was presented with a collection of 25 books by the writer with a QR code.
