“Aliyanyn Ani”

On April 25, based on the story of the writer Zheken Zhumakanov, a historical and educational evening “Aliyanyn Ani” was organized, dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova.
At the event, the chief curator of the regional memorial museum named after Hero of the Soviet Union A. Moldagulova, Tolkyn Zhanabergenova, presented a photo-historical slide “Debiet Maidany”, dedicated to the life and work of Zheken Zhumakanov. She also presented Aktobe residents with a video of the writer’s wife, Klara Bilalkyzy. In her address, expressing her warm wishes, Klara Bilalkyzy said: “During the war, the writer-fighter Zheken Zhumakanov, together with Aliya Moldagulova, participated in the battles and saw her courage with my own eyes. Zheken said when they were sent on reconnaissance at night, he was amazed to see Aliya’s speed, courage, accuracy and bravery. During Zheken Zhumakanov’s lifetime, about fifteen books were published. Manuscripts that have not been published are stored in the archives of Almaty.”
In addition, the teacher of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College Lyazzat Balgazieva said: “The works of Zh. Zhumakanov have been translated into Russian, Ukrainian, English, French, Spanish, German and other languages. Awarded the Order of the Red Star. The writer praised the heroism, courage and spirit of sniper Aliya Moldagulova. I hope that the spirit, patriotism and dignity of our heroine Aliya will manifest itself in our Kazakh girls.”
During the event, library employees Ryszhan Karagulova and Gulbanu Kakenova conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Aliya - aru ​​kyzy sen halkymnyn ...” and presented a photo-historical slide “Erlik-elge mura, urpakka - onege”.
Also, students of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College Asem Laikova, Aruzhan Serikova, Aidana Tukzhimova, Zhannur Zhusipova shared about the story they read by Zheken Zhumakanov “Aliya Ani”. Nurzat Sarimova read a poem by the poet Yakov Helemsky “Aliyanyn zhuregi” in Kazakh. Arai Kanybekkyzy read Zheken Zhumakanov’s poem “Aliya Ani”; a student of secondary school-gymnasium No. 9 Indira Kairzhanova read in Russian Gennady Serebryakov’s translation from Saga Zhienbaev’s poem “Aliya”.
Deputy Director of the Library Aigul Kyrymkulova concluded the event and thanked the readers who took an active part.
