On September 6, within the framework of the international project "Literature without Borders", an online meeting "Holiday of Friendship and Kindness" was organized, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the city of Aktobe, the 280th anniversary of the Orenburg province and the 90th anniversary of the Orenburg region.
The event was attended by the director of the Orenburg regional universal scientific library named after N. Krupskaya Svetlana Myachina, deputy director for digitalization of the MBUK Centralized Library System of Ulyanovsk Alexandra Builina.
Also, the head of the service sector of the Orenburg regional universal scientific library named after N. Krupskaya Ekaterina Kostsova told the history of the Orenburg province and the Orenburg region and presented the video film "Orenburg region". The head of the local history department of the Orenburg regional universal scientific library named after N. Krupskaya Aigul Utevalieva presented a photo-historical slide "Kazakh names on the map of Orenburg". During the event, readers got acquainted with the Aktobe artist, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poetess Irina Kurmanalina and her husband, artist Almas Kurmanalin. Employee of the tourist information department of the KSU "Visit Aktobe" Aruzhan Rakhmetalina presented a slide "Locations of Aktobe". Members of the theater studio "Scarlet Sails" Ayaulym Nauryzbaeva and Yana Kurochkina performed the poem by Sagi Zhienbaev "My Love".
Librarians organized a gallery of pictures by Irina Kurmanalina in the foyer, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the city of Aktobe.
At the end of the event, the Aktobe poetess Svetlana Rusanovskaya gave a congratulatory speech. The library director Sulushash Khakimova thanked the guests and presented them with memorable gifts.
