On October 8, the literary evening "Kanatty Kalamger" was held to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh writer, poet, playwright B. Mailin. The guests of the evening were journalist, satirist Konakbayeva A, senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature, Master of Philology R. Zhumagalieva R, teacher of Kazakh language and literature of secondary school No. 51 Smilova Nurgul, teacher of Marzhanbulak secondary school of Alginsky district Mukanov S. In their speeches, they talked about the life and creative legacy of the writer and poet, dwelt in detail on the skill of B. Mailin, who created a whole gallery of vivid artistic images reflecting the fate of an entire generation.

During the event, a video review of the hall dedicated to the life and work of B. Mailin of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore named after B. Mailin was demonstrated, a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Soz zergeri - Beyimbet" was presented.
