On August 26, the literary salon "Kalamger" hosted an evening meeting with Madi Ayymbetov, writer, journalist, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash", laureate of the "Kurmet" order. The meeting, organized with the purpose of familiarizing and popularizing the works of Aktobe writer Madi Ayymbetov among the general public, was attended by honorary citizen of Baiganinsky district Turikpenbay Ayzharykov, director of "Aktobe-Media", chairman of the regional organization of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rauken Otynshin, poet, chairman of the Aktobe regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Kurmankulov, chief specialist of the department "Art and Folk Art" of the Aktobe Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation, Ulmeken Moldagalieva and other representatives of the intelligentsia of the city, journalists, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature of the city schools, readers of the library. During the event, librarians conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Kemel oily, korkem sozdi zhazushy". Also, the writer Madi Ayymbetov spoke about his creative path and future plans, answered questions from readers and exchanged opinions. Library director Sulushash Khakimova wished the writer creative success and presented him with memorable gifts.
