On August 15, as part of the republican campaign "One Country - One Book", a disco lecture "Balalar adebietinin baiteregi" was organized, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the classic of children's literature Berdibek Sokpakbayev. The goal is to raise the status of reading books among readers, generate interest in reading, explain the special place of books in human life. Information about the life and work of Berdibek Sokpakbayev was also provided. In addition, excerpts from the film by Kazakh director Abdolla Karsakbayev with the author's storyline "My name is Kozha", which received a special prize at the international film festival for children and adolescents, held in Cannes (France) in 1967, were shown. Librarian Ryszhan Karagulova spoke about the monument to the main character of the book "My name is Kozha", which was installed in the capital's Zhetysu Park (2022). During the event, library employee Aigerim Zhasanova conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Berden Talent Berdibek". As part of the cultural event, the song of the talented composer Nurgis Tilendiyev "Tugan El", written by the famous poet Tumanbai Moldagaliev, was performed.
