A literary evening, "The Life of a Distinguished Kazakh Journalist," was held at the city's Palace of Culture. It was dedicated to the 70th birthday of the distinguished Kazakh journalist and poet Sagyndyk Niyankulov.

The event, organized by the S. Baishev Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library, was attended by renowned writers, intellectuals, and students. Senior citizens congratulated the evening's host on his anniversary and offered their best wishes. They also expressed gratitude to the poet for his contributions to journalism and other fields, as well as for his character and kindness.

The renowned poet Sagyndyk Eginbayuly was born in the village of Altykarasu in the Temir District. After graduating from high school, three or four years later he moved to Almaty to pursue his dream. In the city that has become the capital of Kazakh writers, he studied at the Faculty of Journalism at the Kazakh National University. He subsequently worked in various fields in the region. Today, he is a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan and an Honored Journalist of Kazakhstan.

Poetry collections "Zhaukazyn Zhyrym – Zhastykym," "Bir Khuradu – Armanym," "Aulga Khat," "Akemmen Syrlasu," and "Biz Ekyumiz" were published annually.

During the evening, the literary community shared their profound reflections on the poet's work and dedicated their best wishes to him. The poems "Tugan Zher," "Kazakpyn," "Dombra," and "Zhedel Zhedel" were recited in the style of student youth, and the songs "Terektym," "Kenkiyak," and "Altykarasuym Mening" were performed. The evening's host also shared his thoughts and experiences, earning a special round of applause from the audience.

A bibliographical overview of the book exhibition "Amanbysyn, ukramanym oz kerken..." dedicated to the work of Sagyndyk Eginbayuly was presented, and readers were also presented with his biography.

Summing up the literary evening, the poet read his recent poems and expressed his joy and boundless gratitude.
