Aktobe Regional Universal Scientific Library named after. S. Baisheva, on the Day of National Currency, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the entry into circulation of our national currency and on the Day of Financiers, held a themed evening “Ulttyk Tenge - Ult Maktanyshy!” with the participation of Honored Employee of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran Zhandauletov Zhumabai Shankatuly, research fellow of the Aktobe Regional Museum of History and Local Lore Shalmanova Aliya Bakytzhankyzy, senior lecturer at Aktobe University named after. S. Baisheva, Master of Economic Sciences Kabanova Zarina Kabidollaevna, First Deputy. Director of the Aktobe regional branch of JSC People's Bank of Kazakhstan Beisova Torgyn Kazievna.
Guests of the event spoke about the history of the origin of the national currency of independent Kazakhstan - the tenge, about the activities of the tenge in strengthening currency relations, its current significance, the ways of prosperity of our state, which withstood the difficulties of that time, and proudly noted the achievements of our independent state.
Deputy head of the department for working with cash and cash operations of the branch of the National Bank of Kazakhstan in Aktobe, Zhumagaga R.A. and her colleagues presented to the readers a very interesting and valuable video slide dedicated to the anniversary, about the new holiday tenge, gilded with gold and silver.
During the event, the teacher of the IT school-lyceum No. 72 named after A. Kekilbayeva Shortangaliev A.K. performed the song “Kazakhtai el kaida”, written to the words of Kalkaman Sarin and the song “Atameken”, young specialists of our library presented a literary montage by Shomishbai Sariev “Tol tengemiz turaly”.
A book exhibition on the topic: “Tenge-Ulttyk currency” was presented to the attention of readers; a slide was shown about the history of the origin of our tenge. The event was attended by teachers and students of Aktobe Regional University. K. Zhubanov and S. Baishev University, Aktobe College of Industrial Technologies and Management.
