On June 16, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the first astronomer, cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union Viktor Patsayev, an information hour “Ue tarlany Viktor Patsayev” was held in Military Unit 6655 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by the senior assistant of the department of education and socio-legal administration of Military Unit 6655 of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Captain Altynshash Baltabaevna and an employee of the Aktobe Regional Planetarium, Shahadat Sakenovna. Also, 3rd year students of the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov Lazzat Utepbaeva conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition. During the exhibition, several books about astronauts were presented to the soldiers. Among them, the books of Galina Patsayeva, V. Patsayev’s sister, “Tulips and Stars”, “Courage Iskan” and “Samgau” were widely mentioned. The book “Samgau” contains interesting secrets about the astronaut’s childhood, his school and college years in Aktobe and Penza, about his friends at that time and how they supported him in achieving the goal of space exploration in his youth.
Poet Nagima Yeleukhanova, musician, translator, television journalist, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Excellence in the field of culture” Gulsamal Aimakhanova read the poem “Zher Serigi” to the soldiers.
At the end of the event, the head of the department of local history literature, Bakytgul Snabaeva, made a final speech and presented letters of gratitude to the participants.
