On March 15, as part of the regional action “Reading Land”, a literary evening “Ayel Bakyty” was organized, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writer, translator, journalist Sara Mynzhasarova.
The event was attended by a poet, a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, director of the Aktobe regional branch Baurzhan Kurmankulov, a satirist, a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, theater expert Ardak Konakbaeva, relatives of Sara Manzhasarova Zhanyldyk Koptleuova, Raiymbay Aktaev.
In addition, on the ZOOM platform from Almaty, the writer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the Alash International Literary Prize, author of the Balbulak magazine, and famous journalist Magira Kozhakhmetova expressed her warm wishes. She talked about how she met Sara Mynzhasarova on her creative path and how close she was to her until the last days of her life.
During the event, a student of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College Sermukhanova Zerip read an excerpt from the work “Women’s Happiness” by Sara Mynzhasarova, library reader Karlygash Erzhigit shared her opinion about the novel “Women’s Happiness”. Students of the art school “Arai” Daniya Meirmanova, Ademi Seisenbay, Kamila Sagynayeva performed the writer’s favorite song “Kara Torgay”. Library employee Gulbanu Kakenova conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Rukhy mykty zhazushy”. Readers are also presented with a video of the satirist writer, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Torezhan Mandibay “Sara apanyn songy sapary”, an interview about the research work “Tozim shenberi” by a candidate of philological sciences, professor of the department of printing and publishing of the Eurasian National University named after Lev Gumilyov Mendigul Shyndalieva, photo historical slide “Kishikumnyn kalamger kyzy”. Summing up the event, library director Sulushash Khakimova said that the events would continue on the occasion of the writer’s anniversary.
