Today, a confidential conversation took place with journalist, translator, literary critic, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and laureate of the Alash International Literary Prize, Aliya Kaharmanovna Bopezhanova, and the young poet and translator, Fatih Sultan Yılmaz, who came to Aktobe from Turkey.

At the end of the event, Fatih Sultan Yılmaz presented signed copies of his books.

Today, as part of the regional "Oqityn ölke" campaign, a literary evening, "Syrymdy aytayynshy," was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of writer, satirist, and journalist Umbetbay Uaydin.

The event was attended by writer, satirist, and member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Torezhan Mandibay; poet, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, veteran of the field of education and culture, and academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Kalauov; journalist, satirist, writer, and member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Ardak Konakbayeva; cultural figure of Kazakhstan, satirist, and laureate of the Umbetbay Uaydin Prize in satire, and director of the "Eki Ezu" humor and satire theater Nurlybek Zhubatkan; artistic director of the "Er Edige" poetry school; zhyrau, teacher Adilbek Sarin; and library readers and students.

 

On August 10, the "Abai Day" literary festival, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great thinker Abai Kunanbayev, took place on Abai Avenue.

On June 20, the library hosted a presentation of the book "Commissar Khansultan Togysuly Suyinshalin" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of a prominent public and political figure. The event was the first step towards a wider public awareness of his legacy and the perpetuation of the name of Khansultan Suynshalin. The book was published in 2023 in Aktobe by the Azhar-ABK printing house. The compilers and authors of the work were: a prominent figure in Kazakh journalism, honorary professor of the Academy of Sports and Tourism of Kazakhstan, editor-in-chief of the republican magazine "Sport Zhuldyzdary" Taskaliev M.S. and research fellow of the State Archives of the Aktobe region Bakhtiyarov E.S.

As part of the "National Book Day", the literary salon "KALAMGER" hosted an evening "Sanadaghy sulbalar" dedicated to the work of the poet, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Marlen Gilymkhan and the presentation of his book "Tobeler stikhiyasy". The evening was attended by the poet, laureate of the international literary award "Alash" Meirkhan Akdaulet, the poet, representative of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan in the Aktobe region Bauyrzhan Kurmankulov and other representatives of the intelligentsia. During the event, a presentation of the book "Tobeler stikhiyasy" dedicated to the ancient history of the Aktobe region took place. This book contains poems and poems about the life of the people of the region. The book of the poet Marlen Gilymkhan is part of the strategic partnership of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan. On May 6, as part of the international project "Literature without Borders", together with the Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya, a historical and educational online evening "A Life-Long Feat" was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova.

The event, which was held via the Zoom application, was attended by the director of the Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya Svetlana Myachina, library employees Ekaterina Burlakova, Dmitry Salnikov and Anastasia Chetverikova. 

On May 2, a literary and musical evening "Aliya - batyr kyzy sen halkymnyn" was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the heroic daughter of the Kazakh people, Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova. The event was attended by a teacher of the Aktobe Higher Humanitarian College Lyazzat Balgaziyeva and her student Nurila Tlektesova, who spoke about the life and feat of the girl heroine.

On May 2, a literary evening "Erlіkke tagzym" was held, dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the dedication of the Heroes of the Soviet Union Idris Urgenishbayev, Abdulla Zhanzakov, Kozhabay Zhazikov, Malkezhdar Bukenbayev. The guests of the evening were an excellent worker of culture and public service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, a research fellow of the Aktobe Regional Museum of History and Local Lore E. Kydyrgali Mukhituly; Balgali Kozhagaliuly (a descendant of K. Zhazikov); senior lieutenant of police of the Aktobe Law Institute named after M. Bukenbayev Aisultan Beket Ardakuly. The guests of the evening spoke about the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, calling on the youth to love their homeland. Video materials dedicated to the Heroes of the Soviet Union and a documentary film dedicated to the 100th anniversary of M. Bukenbaev were also shown. During the evening, members of the literary and cultural club "Iba" Mukagali Maraluly, Almas Zhibek, Aktemisova Raina, Bolatkyzy Akiba read the poems "Oshpegen zhalyn", "Batyrga tagzym", "Zhenis", "Men kazakpyn". Readers were presented with a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Tarikh betteri syr shertedi".

On April 22, as part of the National Book Day, a republican literary and historical online evening "Bes zhyriktіn biri edі Aktan akyn" was organized, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the famous poet, zhyrau Aktan Kereyuly.

On April 21, a literary evening "Azattykty ansagan - Gumar Karash" was held dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Kazakh writer, poet and publicist, public figure Gumar Karash.
