On March 16, to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Utebay Kanakhin, chosen as part of the regional action “Okityn Olke”, a literary evening “Zamana Perzenti” was held together with the Irgiz regional library.
At the event, the honored journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local historian Otemis Rakymzhan, brother of the writer Utebay Kanakhin Bayman Abzal shared their memories, the director of the Irgiz regional centralized library system, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Myrzaly introduced a letter to “Rakhymzhan, Zakirzhan, Marat”, written by the writer himself. An evening meeting was held dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of the poet, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, art critic, veteran of the field of education and culture, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlybek Kalauov “ARDAGER AZAMAT, ARDAKTY AKYN”.
The poet was congratulated on his anniversary by the head of the Aktobe regional department of culture, archives and documentation Altynai Yunisova, the poet, editor-in-chief of the Ush Tagan magazine, director of the Aktobe regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Ertai Ashykbaev.
