To mark the 125th anniversary of the birth of the statesman and public figure, teacher, publicist Temirbek Zhurgenov, a historical and educational event “KEMEGER MEMLEKET KAYRATKERI” was held. Temirbek Zhurgenov was born in November 1898 into a wealthy family in the village of Basykarakopa (near Zhabasak), Irgyz district, Aktobe region. Temirbek Zhurgenov, who carried out such significant, great work, devoted his whole life to serving the nation, the country, was detained on August 3, 1937 on the false charge of “enemy of the people” and executed on February 25, 1938.
